As the second quarter of 2021 wrapped up, we at Sensor Tower took a close look at the performance of top tabletop board games on the Android platform in the United States. Here are the insights on how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Scopely, the US-based publisher, saw its popular game YAHTZEE With Buddies Dice Game maintain steady revenue around the mid-600K USD mark with a slight increase to around 614K USD at the end of June. Downloads peaked in late June at approximately 21K, while weekly active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, ending with around 281K.

Meanwhile, Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino, published by Aviva Sun from the United Arab Emirates, had a more varied revenue trend with a notable spike to over 222K USD in late May. Downloads for Yalla Ludo jumped to over 20K towards the end of June, and the game's weekly active users saw an uptick, reaching over 133K in the same period.

Scopely's other offering, Dice With Buddies™ Social Game, showed a gentle decrease in revenue, dipping to around 78K USD by late June. However, the game's downloads and weekly active users were on an upward trajectory, with downloads hitting over 4K and active users nearing 21K by the end of the quarter.

Backgammon - Lord of the Board from Beach Bum Ltd. in Israel presented a stable revenue trend, hovering in the mid-60K USD range. The game experienced a slight decrease in downloads, settling at around 1.7K, and a similar slight decline in weekly active users, ending at approximately 30K.

Lastly, Chess - Play and Learn by Chess.com, a US publisher, showed a consistent revenue pattern, mostly in the low-40K USD range. Downloads for Chess fluctuated, with a late June figure of around 19K, while weekly active users saw a minor decline, finishing the quarter with just under 391K.
